  • Primary English and maths.
  • Confidence and catch-up support.
  • KS2 SATs preparation where appropriate.
  • Supportive sessions for learners who need patience and routine.
  • Practical classroom experience across primary, secondary, SEND-aware and EAL support.
  • Fully DBS Checked, with recent SEND strategies and proven classroom based strategies.

Summer support

Summer and September confidence.

The weeks before September can be a good time to steady things before the next school year starts.

Amanda can support children who are moving from Year 6 into Year 7, learners who need KS3 catch-up in maths or English, and pupils who have lost confidence after a difficult term. For some families, the concern is academic. For others, it is routine, independence, SEND needs or the worry that a new school year will feel too much too quickly.

As a tutor in Stockport, Amanda keeps the first step personal. Parents can talk through the year group, subject, confidence, SEND considerations and what school has already said before deciding whether tutoring is the right fit.

How tutoring starts

Call, WhatsApp or text Amanda for a friendly chat.

Amanda will ask about the year group, subject, confidence, school concerns, what has already been tried and what you would like to feel different after a few weeks.

Parent feedback

"My son has alot of anxiety around school and due to his SEND needs so we were looking for some one to one support to help him access school better, Amanda provided this in a calm manner and he now looks forward to his tutoring sessions with her."
